After the success of last year, we were very happy
to make return visit to the yearly RAF Waddington International Airshow.
It is one of the best shows of the year attracting great international participation.
The highlight this year being the Korean national demonstration team, the
Black Knights debuting in Europe with the T50 jet trainer. This time we
took part in the static display park only, receiving a great spot next to
the large display hangar. |

On Friday, the ground crew arrived at Waddington
well in time to see Tony and Edith arriving in the Bronco. With the help
of some Cadets, the Bronco was manually pushed into place, and the cadets
were suitably rewarded with a donation of some books for their charity lottery
on behalf of Bronco Demo Team. |

During the weekend, the weather was perfect for
the flying display, clear dry sky with some fluffy clouds as backdrop. The
show was filled with some of the best flying around, ranging from the Battle
of Britain Memorial Flight to the modern Typhoon. Not only the flying display
was very attractive, but also in the static some unique aircraft could be
found, like the Australian B737 Wedgetail. |

It was great to meet up with so many fans and
exchanging experiences with, amongst many others, the crew of the German
Phantom and the Hawker Hunter display team, we even found a new Cheerleader…
On Saturday morning we were honoured with the visit of Air Chief Marshal
Sir Stephen Gary George Dalton and Minister Sir Gerald Howarth, who were
very interested in the Bronco. On Monday, Jessie had the great pleasure
to fly back home in the Bronco, and she discovered a Bronco fan on the way. |
