February 14-16, 2013 saw the Bronco Demo Team participating the annual European Airshow Convention, which took place in the Radisson Blu Astrid hotel in the center of Antwerp, Belgium. The event is a great place to gather with friends and meet new people in the European Airshow scene. Promoting excellence and safety at airshows is the main goal of the convention, and during various seminars throughout the two days, a lot of interesting things can be learned to improve this even more.
As the convention is the ideal place to promote our team to all the attending Airshow organizers and other performers, a nice Bronco promotion stand was erected. On Thursday evening, during the opening dinner, a large part of the Bronco Demo Team Crew was present to promote the team with great success. Our new gadgets were displayed together with a selection of photographs, and a nice promotion video on the TV screen.
After attending the seminars on Friday throughout the day, the famous Airshow Dinner was organized in the evening. This informal evening is a great way to meet new people, and to exchange experiences from past years. After the dinner it was time for the awards to be handed over. A Jury of experts chose the Bronco Demo Team to be awarded the first price in the marketing competition for participants, for which we are very happy to receive. This was a great present, making this evening even more special.
On Saturday morning the presentations were concluded, and it was time to say goodbye to all the Airshow friends. After the promotion stand was packed, we enjoyed a great lunch at the Antwerp Airport restaurant looking back at a great convention. Hereby we would like to thank the European Airshow Council for their great initiative organizing this convention, and we are especially thankful for the award we received.
