In order to “pick-up things from where we left off”, Bronco Demo Team brought its newly restored OV-10 Bronco to Kemble airfield in the UK for its first public showing on May 3rd, 2014. The aircraft was presented to during a free event at Cotswold Airport (Kemble). BDT teamed up with the XM496 Bristol Britannia Preservation Trust who kept an Open Day the same time and the for good measure Cotswold Airport management kindly offered to organize their Spring Fly-in that day too. A great party was in the making, and indeed it was!
Upon arrival on Friday evening Bronco 99+18 briefly halted at the very same spot where 99+32 came to a final rest less than two years ago. A very emotional moment indeed.

The UK Bronco Fan Day was blessed with blue skies making for a great day out. Many Fans, Friends and Family gathered in front of the Control Tower. The Cotswold Airport Spring Fly-in attracted a great variety of aircraft. One of the highlights of the day was the Canberra departing for a rehearsal demonstration at the Abingdon show, taking place the next day.
