On 16 and 17 August, the 31st international
oldtimer Fly/Drive-In took place in Schaffen. On Saturday morning the
ground crew left to Schaffen. We were welcomed by Guy Valvekens, organiser
of the Fly In. A few minutes later, Tony & Edith arrived with the
Bronco. The Bronco was parked in the middle of the field and soon the
promotional stand was set up. |

Beside the aircrafts, their were a lot of unique
cars. In Shaffen it’s also customary to camp on the airfield near
the aircraft. Thomas, Ruth and Jessie camped next to the Bronco.
Saturday evening we enjoyed a delicious barbecue and a fantastic sunset.
After sunset, everyone went to the party hangar. Bronco Party Team closed
the hangar party @ 3am. |
