Our great friends at the Waddington International
Airshow offered us the very emotional occasion of performing our first
flying display in the UK since the unfortunate events of less than two
years ago.
After arrival on Thursday an evaluation rehearsal display was flown in
the afternoon to the satisfaction of the show's Flying Control Committee:
Bronco Demo Team is good to display again! |

Friday was leisurely spent by the team in the
nearby town of Lincoln, climbing Steep Hill street all the way to the top
for a visit of the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. |

Crowds flocked to RAF Waddington in great numbers
on both days for a most varied and interesting show including many rare
cold war types such as the SAAB Draken and Viggen, the mighty Vulcan, the
Canberra, several Hawker Hunters, the Gnat display team, etc… all
making the Bronco feeling readily at home! |

Show themes this year were 50 years Red Arrows,
60 years NATO and ISTAR14, all suitably illustrated in the flying display
and with a very good static line up to include amongst many other highlights
an Italian Air Force B767, the Oil Spill Response B727 - flown in by fellow
BDT pilot Dan Griffith - and a humble company Shorts SC7 Skyvan showing
of it's new livery!
With special thanks to Paul Sall, Charles Skiera and Roger Steele. |
