For the last 5 years the Abingdon Air and
Country Fayre has been on the agenda of Bronco Demo Team. The 2015 edition
had a fantastic line-up. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, some last-minute
cancellations occured, but nevertheless Neil Porter and his team managed
to provide the visitors with a great day out.
The Bronco and Skyvan both arrived on Saturday evening being available
to the photographers for the usual night photoshoot. The team had a great
dinner at the Merry Miller, a local pub. |

Airshow day started quite wet, but soon after
the gates opened the skies cleared to give space for the flying displays
against some – at times - dramatic backgrounds. We were again very
happy to meet a great number of our die hard fans who come back year after
year. Just after noon, Tony took off in the Bronco for a flying display,
soon followed by the Skyvan dropping the Renegates Parachute Team. After
the display both aircraft flew to nearby Brize Norton for refueling, to
return to Abingdon afterwards before leaving for home. |

The flying program itself was shifted around
a little due to a torrential downpour in the middle of the program. Some
of the highlights were the Meteor NF11, RV8tors, T-6 and the newly formed
synchro pair Spitfire-Typhoon. Despite the unfavourable conditions at times,
it was a most enjoyable day. |

Many thanks to Neil Porter and his fantastic
team of volunteers putting the Abingdon show togehter! We would also like
to thank the ground crew at RAF Brize Norton for the great service and hospitality. |
