For the sixth time Bronco Demoteam was invited to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. RIAT is known to be the largest military airshow worldwide, and tickets for the event were sold out well in advance. This years edition started on Friday 8 July with a flying display under a partly cloudy sky. Friday’s flying programme's top acts were undoubtedly the spectacular demonstration of the F22 Raptor and the first ever international display of the F35-B Lightning II, including demonstration of it’s hovering and vertical landing capabilities. The same day the airshow was visited by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, together with Prince George, the future King of England.
On Saturday and Sunday a very varied flying display was programmed, featuring the Eurofighter Typhoon, the Bell V-22 Osprey, Chinook, F16, F22, F35B, Mig 29, Rafale and many more. Formation aerobatics were also included in the programme with the Red Arrows, Frecce Tricolore, The Jordanian Falcons and the Breitling Wing Walkers.
RIAT 2016 also featured an impressive static display with aircraft from airforces all over the world, some of the larger aircraft were also opened to the public for a visit inside. Bronco Demo Team was present in the static display with Bronco and Skyvan. Our Merchandising stand was visited by a lot of fans of the Bronco, and we enjoyed talking to many Bronco enthousiasts, as well as some Bronco veterans!! We enjoyed the positive feedback we had from many visitors.

On Sunday night the weekend was closed with the traditional farewell party for all participating pilots and crews.
